Senior Manager, Marketing and Digital Fundraising

GWC is seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing and Digital Fundraising to grow our online audience, develop targeted fundraising campaigns, and project manage for marketing and communications to keep to strategy and ensure consistency in messaging and tone.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage integrated marketing and digital fundraising strategy, ensuring all campaigns and messages integrate with GWC’s voice and brand

  • Lead on year-end appeals, Giving Tuesday, other fundraising appeals

  • Lead on GWC’s email marketing/fundraising strategy

  • Act as the primary liaison among communications, operations, marketing and development to ensure consistency and seamless integration of messaging and execution

  • Project manage to coordinate elements across the communications/marketing team, including budget management

  • Develop and implement strategy to enhance GWC’s SEO to increase web traffic, drive donors and supports to the site, and encourage supporters to take action

  • Measure performance of campaigns

  • Develop paid social media strategy

  • Define and drive online marketing and fundraising objectives, strategies and tactics that roll up to support broad organizational goals

  • Develop and oversee executive of creative online fundraising campaigns, owning content creation, curation and approvals

  • Create strategies and develop customized donor-centric approaches to achieve conversion, retention, acquisition, and loyalty to move donors up the giving pyramid – through short-term campaigns and large ongoing projects that will drive engagement and increase funding

  • Work closely with director of outreach and events on corporate sponsor strategy and proposals

  • Lead the creation of marketing products as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in a diverse scope of digital channels such as email communications, search engine optimization, online reputation, website content and fundraising, digital advertising, digital video, paid social media

  • Experience quickly developing and managing online fundraising campaigns in response to global crises

  • Strong project management skills

  • Exceptional written, oral and listening communication skills

  • Ability to identify measurable outcomes and utilize analytical skills to maximize ROI for each channel

  • Flexible and adaptive

  • Experience with inbound marketing

  • Experience with content marketing

Compensation and Benefits

  • This is a full-time, salaried position, working around 40 hours per week with a flexible, family-friendly schedule (subject to supervisor approval)

  • GWC offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience
