Giving Thanks: For Conservation Colleagues

As an artist, I am constantly seeking inspiration in the world; and for me that is done primarily through interaction with others. I am fortunate enough to be able to interact with some pretty badass individuals on the regular. My team, my colleagues, and now my friends at GWC, work tirelessly, endlessly and often times thanklessly—dedicating their lives to preserve everyone else’s. They are scientists, conservationists, humanists…and I am very grateful to know each and every one of them. They are not only intelligent warriors for wildlife, but they are compassionate conservation champions raising awareness, protecting species and habitats and spearheading anti-poaching initiatives across the globe. They provide me with knowledge and humor and humility and I am inspired daily by their commitment to making this world a better place than which they found it.
