​Cody currently serves as GIS and Geospatial Research Officer at GWC. He works on geographic information, especially related to biodiversity for surveys and conservation planning.

​Mr. Schank's background is in broad environmental science issues, and includes extensive laboratory, analytical, and field research. He has worked with scientists, policy-makers, and others in the course of his work, and has had experience with non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and governmental agencies. His past experience includes working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of Virginia. He is an expert in geographical analyses and is also proficient with novel field technologies.
