GWC adheres strictly to science, and is not guided by politics, bureaucracy, and the forces of inertia and inaction that can be frequently found within conservation organizations. As such, a scientific framework underlies all of our work.

GWC is reestablishing the explorative spirit and adventurous enthusiasm that drove early day scientific expeditions, while also utilizing cutting-edge, environmentally sound survey techniques. This is combined with the expertise of top conservation scientists, all of whom have dedicated their lives to further the exploration and conservation of the planet.
